Substance Abuse Treatment Providers

Alcohol and drug addiction counselors and other behavioral health specialists may use QuitWorks to refer their patients for support to quit tobacco use.  Providers funded through the Massachusetts Department of Public Health's Bureau of Substance Abuse Services (BSAS) already have been introduced to QuitWorks and have received training on smoking cessation interventions.

Training on smoking cessation interventions and use of QuitWorks is available through the BSAS-funded training contractor for tobacco training and assistance.
